Tucked within the historic grounds of NYIT de Seversky Mansion, this wedding embraced a soft, airy, and understated floral palette—a gentle contrast to the mansion’s grand Georgian architecture. Rather than overwhelming the space, the floral design sought to echo its quiet elegance: muted blush, pale peach, ivory, and soft sage formed the foundation of the color story.

NYIT de Seversky Mansion is one of Long Island’s most timeless wedding venues, known for its Georgian architecture, manicured grounds, and flexible indoor-outdoor ceremony options. The estate feels both grand and intimate, making it ideal for couples who want a romantic historic setting with modern comfort and privacy. For this wedding, we designed a soft and understated floral palette of muted blush, pale peach, ivory, and soft sage that complemented the mansion’s neutral interiors and architectural details without overwhelming the space.

The venue typically hosts one wedding per day, giving couples private access to the mansion, gardens, terrace, and ballroom. Guest capacity generally ranges from one hundred to three hundred adults, and the property offers multiple ceremony locations including the East Lawn, Linden Tree area, patio, and indoor rooms. Because the mansion is a protected historic building, all décor must be freestanding and non-damaging, which makes airy floral structures and organic arrangements especially suitable.

Most couples book the venue nine to eighteen months in advance, with late spring, summer, and fall being the most popular seasons. Overall wedding budgets at this estate often fall in the fifty to sixty thousand dollar range depending on guest count and services. With its elegant architecture, soft natural light, and versatile layouts, NYIT de Seversky Mansion remains an excellent choice for couples seeking a refined and atmospheric Long Island wedding.
