A wedding between November and April has its own rhythm. The light leaves early, coats need a place to go, and the weather keeps its own counsel. We plan around all of it, so that on the day, nothing reaches you but the moments you came for.
Floraland is a floral design and wedding coordination studio in Westbury, Long Island. Since 2018 we have coordinated weddings across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey and across the country.
The Winter and Spring Season Promotions
For weddings held in these months, our coordination services are offered at seasonal rates.

Month-of packages are available on any date in the season, weekends included. Day-of Coordination is available Monday to Thursday, excluding holidays.
What Your Wedding Day Feels Like With Us
You will not answer a vendor's call. You will not wonder whether the cake has arrived, where the photographer should stand, or who has the envelopes. Your family will know where to be and when. When the evening ends, your personal items are packed, your vendors are paid, and the room is handed back to the venue. One coordinator holds the timeline from the first delivery to the last load out. You are free to be a guest at your own wedding.

Planning a Winter or Spring Wedding in New York
In December the sun sets in New York before 4:45pm, so we build the timeline around the light your photographer needs. We plan for coat check, salt and wet floors at the entrance, and holiday traffic between ceremony and reception. In March and April we prepare a rain plan for every outdoor moment and confirm it with the venue weeks in advance.

Work meals and travel related expenses for the coordination team are not included.

Questions About Winter and Spring Weddings
Is a winter wedding in New York harder to coordinate?
It asks for different planning: earlier light, cold weather arrivals, coat check and holiday traffic. A coordinator who has worked these months will plan for each in the timeline.
What is the difference between day-of and month-of coordination?
Day-of Coordination begins two weeks before the wedding and is for couples whose planning is complete. Month-of Coordination begins one or two months before, adds venue and vendor recommendations and contract review, and includes the wedding day.
My venue has a coordinator. Do I still need one?
A venue coordinator looks after the venue and its staff. We look after you, your timeline, your vendors and your family.
Can I book a weekend date?
Yes. During the winter and spring season, both Month-of packages are available on weekends. Day-of Coordination is offered Monday to Thursday, excluding holidays.
