This December wedding at Oheka Castle in Huntington, Long Island, was designed around one idea: a green and white palette that feels calm, bright and timeless against the castle's gilded rooms and winter light. With about 70 guests, the celebration was intimate enough that every arrangement could be seen up close, so we focused on texture, scale and candlelight rather than a long list of colors.

The ceremony took place beneath a floral arch built from white roses, hydrangeas and orchids layered over soft greenery. Its full, rounded shape framed the couple without hiding the paneled walls and paintings behind them, and smaller white arrangements along the aisle carried the same flowers toward guests.

For the reception, we set long feast tables instead of round tables. Each table ran under a continuous floral runner of white roses, hydrangeas and orchids with trailing greenery, mixed with taper candles and low votives. Keeping the arrangements low let guests talk across the table, and the candlelight warmed the green and white flowers through the winter evening.
